Suspended lines

The Suspended Lines series explores the human body as a living cartography, fragmented and reconstructed through its lines of expression, movement, and life. In these images, the face loses prominence, stripping away any features that could individualize or personalize the subject. What remains is an anonymous figure, a contemporary body that becomes a universal symbol.

The framing of each photograph is guided by the natural lines of the body: curves, folds, and tensions that emerge as organic traces. These lines not only define the form but also narrate stories of collective identity beyond the individual. The face, as a carrier of recognition and subjectivity, is omitted to allow the rest of the body to speak.

In Suspended Lines, the fragmented body interacts with space, suspended between the visible and the implied. The work reflects on contemporary humanity, stripped of faces and names, yet full of movement, energy, and life. It is a visual study that celebrates the essence of being, its journey, and its presence in the world.
